Position: Mortgage Document Reviewer (Hybrid - Buffalo) Location: Getzville Imagine Staffing is recruiting for a Quality Assurance Analyst I to work with a premier client within the banking industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and/or completing audits of activities within an assigned area of the Bank to ensure adherence to internal policies, processes, and external regulations. This is a hybrid role in Buffalo, NY. Role & Responsibility: Tasks That Will Lead To Your Success • Monitor and/or complete audits of activities of a more basic nature within an assigned area of the Bank to ensure adherence to established internal policies and processes and external regulations. • Identify issues of non-compliance and communicate to appropriate parties as well as the individual employee as warranted to prevent future recurrence. • Maintain records of discovered deficiencies to support reporting and trend analyses of activities. • Develop and maintain a current knowledge of the policies, processes, and regulations affecting monitoring and/or auditing activities to ensure validity of analyses and findings. • Identify potential areas for process or procedural improvements. • Participate in more complex monitoring and/or audit of activities as requested. • Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management. • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand. • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable. • Complete other related duties as assigned. Skills & Experience Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive • Associate’s degree and a minimum of 1 years' work experience in the area supported, or in lieu of a degree a combined minimum of 3 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 1 years' work experience in the area supported. • Proven analytical skills. • Proven verbal and written communication skills. • Prior experience with pertinent spreadsheet, word processing, database, and presentation software. • Detail-oriented. Education and Experience Preferred: • Prior experience providing written or verbal feedback.
