Health, Safety, & Environmental Engineer

Our client is a premier development, investment, and operating company focused on the power and energy infrastructure in the United States. They are looking to add and HSE Engineer to their team. This is a full-time, REMOTE opportunity. Title: HSE Engineer Location: Remote Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree • 3-5 years of experience in environmental compliance, preferably within an operating plant environment • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of major environmental legislation and regulations • Possess excellent technical reading skills for reviewing contracts, permits, and regulations • Have solid math skills for evaluating air and water emissions • Are detail-oriented with strong organizational, writing, and spreadsheet skills • Are willing to travel periodically Key Responsibilities: • Monitor and guarantee ongoing environmental compliance for our operational assets • Support due diligence processes for new acquisitions and aid in asset divestitures • Analyze and interpret contracts, permits, and environmental laws • Assess air and water emissions to ensure they meet environmental standards • Keep detailed records and oversee the management of environmental compliance documentation • Periodically travel to different operational plants and due diligence locations EOE Statement: Specialist Staffing Group is an equal opportunity employer.
