Senior Business Intelligence Engineer (Investment Banking Experience Required)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions that enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and proficiency in various BI tools and technologies to transform raw data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain robust SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Design and implement data models and dashboards that provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Utilize RESTful APIs to integrate data from various platforms, ensuring seamless data flow.
• Work with Azure Data Lake and AWS services to manage large datasets effectively.
• Employ Python for data analysis, automation of tasks, and enhancement of BI processes.
• Conduct regular performance tuning of databases and queries to optimize efficiency.
• Create documentation for BI processes, including database design and analytics methodologies.
• Stay updated on industry trends in big data technologies and analytics tools.

Requirements
• Proficiency in SQL for database querying and management.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in analytics tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with RESTful API integration techniques.
• Experience working with Azure Data Lake or similar cloud-based data storage solutions.
• Knowledge of Python programming for data manipulation and analysis is preferred.
• Understanding of database design principles and best practices.
• Experience with big data technologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with AWS services is desirable but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in VBA is an advantage for automating tasks within Excel or other applications.
