Credit Analyst

Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Vision insurance Responsibilities: • Assist the Credit Department Manager with all aspects of lending • Facilitates the preparation of credit underwriting and analysis of new and existing loans • Ability to analyze personal and corporate tax returns along with financial statements to compile a comprehensive analysis for rending decisions • Assist in on-going covenant and financial monitoring • Works closely with Commercial Loan Officers in gathering financials and documentation imperative in making a sound credit decision • Prepares and assembles various monthly and quarterly reports as needed for submission to management • Maintain a good working knowledge of the Bank’s lending policies and procedures and identify exceptions to policy Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related degree (or equivalent experience) • 3 + years of experience in commercial loan underwriting required • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications • Knowledge or interest in learning reporting and data analysis tools • Regard for all important details to assure accuracy in every transaction performed; detect errors; follow through on corrections and details • Ability to effectively manage one’s time to complete work according to established deadlines.
