Our client in Waco,Texas has an immediate opening for a Payroll Specialist on a contract to possible hire basis. Company Profile: Healthcare Industry Opportunity for growth 4 day work week Payroll Specialist Role: The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for accurately processing payroll, maintaining financial records, and ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly in the general ledger. Process company payroll as the primary responsibility of this position Review financial transactions for accuracy and input them into the correct general ledger Handle wage garnishments, adjustments, and other payroll-related issues Manage journal entries and review payroll-related notes Reconcile bank and other financial accounts regularly Maintain open communication with the Operating Director for assigned locations Payroll Specialist Background Profile: High school diploma Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or payroll experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite Experience with payroll processing High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Features and Benefits while On Contract: We go beyond the basic staffing agency offerings!
