• * This role sits in our Burbank, CA offices, and this person is required to be on-site 4 days/week** Role Summary The Manager, Credit, Title & Rating Administration handles all aspects of the credits and titles processes in support of Walt Disney Pictures/Disney Live Action theatrical and streaming releases. Responsibilities • Manage credits process on assigned productions and acquisitions • Prepare, proof and approve on-screen credits (main titles and end titles) • Prepare paid advertising memos and billings blocks • Review and approve print and audio/visual advertising marketing materials (e.g. one sheets, trailers, TV spots), promotional items, publicity releases, press notes and award campaign materials for contractual and guild compliance • Register, clear, and track motion picture title registrations with the MPA • Conduct research on credits and titles as needed • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the credits process • Liaise with unions and guilds, including fulfilling documentation needed for arbitration or other legal matters • Manage professional level employee(s) including hiring, training, coaching, delegating, resolving conflict, managing performance, navigating change, etc. • Manage or assist with other department projects as needed Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • Minimum of 5+ years of legal or professional work experience • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience in credits, titles, and ratings, or equivalent entertainment industry experience • Minimum of 1+ years managing employees or equivalent project-based leadership • Strong analytical, organization, time-management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, multi-task and prioritize deadlines and deliverables • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional proofreading skills • Ability to interact, collaborate and communicate with personnel of various levels throughout the studio, including Creative Executives, Business Affairs Executives, Attorneys, Production and Post-Production personnel, and studio leadership • Must be able to read and interpret legal contracts and guild basic agreements in regard to credits policies, practices and procedures • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with document management systems (e.g., NetDocuments) and databases (e.g., Scenechronize) • Prior work experience at a major studio or guild/union • Knowledge of production related legal procedures, terminology, policies, and standards The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $ 78,200.00 to $ 104,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
