About the position Vibra Travels is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Cottonwood, Alabama. This position is designed for nurses with acute care experience in ICU, step down, med surg/tele, and acute rehab. The role involves working 12-hour shifts, specifically during the day, for a duration of 13 weeks, with a commitment of 36 hours per week. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Med Surg / Telemetry units. , ? Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. , ? Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. , ? Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. , ? Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team. , ? Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans. , ? Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities. Requirements ? Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required. , ? 1 full year of RN experience required. , ? Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing required. , ? Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required. , ? Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred. , ? Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills are necessary. , ?
