Healthcare Receptionist - Front Office

This is a remote position. 40 hours a week Mon-Fri 8 AM- 5 PM California time includes 1h unpaid break Scope: • 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week • Direct patient interaction via phone • Collaboration with clinical team members • Independent decision-making within established protocols • HIPAA compliance responsibility • Staggered lunch breaks for continuous coverage Responsibilities: • Manage patient scheduling and appointment coordination • Process and verify insurance information • Upload and maintain patient documentation in practice systems • Handle incoming patient calls with 99% first-call resolution • Provide backup support for clinical team • Build and maintain daily practice schedule • Process patient intake information accurately • Coordinate with back office for seamless patient care Requirements • Excellent communication skills • Strong customer service background • Healthcare or medical practice experience • Proficiency with medical scheduling systems • Insurance verification experience • Knowledge of healthcare administrative procedures • Ability to work Pacific Time Zone (8:00/8:30 AM - 4:00/5:00 PM) • Experience with RingCentral phone systems ​ Independent Contractor Perks • HMO Coverage for eligible locations • Permanent work from home • Immediate hiring • Steady freelance job ZR_22825_JOB Apply Job!
