About the Role
Are you passionate about technology and eager to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative engineering environment? Glassdoor's Jobs team is looking for a Software Engineering Intern to contribute to our mission of improving how millions of users search for and discover job opportunities. This internship will offer you the chance to work on real-world projects, enhance your technical skills, and gain insight into how modern software development teams deliver impactful product features.
Hourly Pay Rate
- $40/hourWhat You'll Do
- Feature Development: Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver new product features, such as improving qualified applicants and enhancing the user experience on Glassdoor.com.
- Quality and Technology Improvement: Increase unit test coverage, participate in code reviews, and adopt modern technologies like Next.js App Router.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside frontend engineers, backend engineers, QA, product managers, and designers to contribute to our job search feature. What You'll Gain
- Hands-on experience in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), tools, and methodologies.
- Core technical skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and technologies like Next.js, CSS Modules, React, and GraphQL.
- Problem-solving and communication skills in a collaborative team environment.

You'll collaborate closely with a small team of engineers and cross-functional partners, including quality assurance, product management, and design.
