- Demonstrate clinical knowledge, ethics, and awareness surrounding crisis intervention and standard clinical practice
- Facilitate and/or co-facilitate weekly Multi-Disciplinary Case Staffing Meetings (Case Consult)
- In addition to group supervision, the SUD Program Director will provide Individual Supervision to Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainees and/or Substance Use Disorder Professionals who may require additional guidance (collaboration between clinician and clinical supervisor)
- Ensure clinical documentation policies are upheld for all practitioners in the department
- Conduct bi-monthly quality assurance chart reviews (internal audits) to ensure each provider remains in compliance with governing and licensing agencies. Utilization review of all clinical records to ensure all consumers are receiving adequate treatment and care to address diagnosis/diagnoses. Utilization review will be conducted during weekly clinical staffing, review of diagnosis/diagnoses, review of Individual Service Plan (ISP) to ensure appropriate intervention(s)/treatment(s) are being applied to address identified goals, and measurable outcomes are being demonstrated
- Provide clinical oversight for imminent and/or unusual situations pertaining to client care
- Responsible for developing and implementing completely new Substance Use Disorder programming and treatment options
- Work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to build out a development and funding strategy
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with funding, referral, and regulatory agencies
- Maintain accurate census, management program budget, and ensure adherence during the fiscal year
- Coordinate with human resources to recruit, hire, and orient new staff
- Maintain full licensing, accreditation, credentialing, and certifications as appropriate
- Be able to engage with various resources and agencies in both Maryland and Massachusetts (including the respective Departments of Health and substance use bureaus for each state)
- Create clinical policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure appropriate clinical processes are being met
- Support our Community Wellness team in the creation of outreach and community education programs related to Substance Use Disorder prevention and intervention
- Support organizational and community outreach at events
- Share in the planning of quarterly health-focused events and community outings, in addition to therapeutic and psychosocial groups
- Experience: 4 years experience with at least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s Degree with CAC-AD Supervisor License, or;
- Master’s Degree with LCADCS

Expected salary: $70000 - 100000 per year
