The focus will be ensuring product is handled to the customer's standards, reducing errors, and promoting continuous improvement.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Audit processes to ensure quality standards are being met and procedures are followed.
- Inspect and repair damaged product.
- Maintain appropriate records.
- Conduct refresher training as required.
- Process out-of-specification material as directed.
- Effectively work and communicate with others in the organization.
- Inform QA Supervisor of major and critical defects found during inspections.
- Verifies action is taken to resolve defects.
- Participate in location inventories.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Capable of basic math calculations
- General knowledge of computers
- Previous quality assurance role
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Able to lift, stand or walk constantly all shift as needed
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to read and interpret specifications and drawings
- Able to use standard measuring equipment
- Self motivated
- Maintains neat/organized work area and documentation
- Strong attention to detail
