Job description: We are looking for a bartender with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service for our patrons to have a great time at our bar. You will be in charge of taking customer orders, mixing a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, making beer and wine recommendations, and keeping the bar area clean and sanitary at all times. This position requires an energetic person with excellent organizational skills and a customer-first attitude. Responsibilities:
- Mix and deliver drinks to customers including alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties of wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks
- Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in point of sale system
- Verify customers' identification age to ensure they are of legal age and provide alcoholic drinks in compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate rules and regulations
- Restock and clean as instructed, including side work for opening and closing of the restaurant
Qualifications:
- Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills
- Previous experience working in food service is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members
- Proven customer service experience with a strong patron-focused mentality
- Experience with mixology and building new recipes and techniques
- TN ABC License Required
