• Serve as a key resource and possibly lead lower levels within your area of expertise, recognized as a "LEAD" or "Subject Matter Expert".

• Contribute to project and departmental tasks, providing direction, training, and potentially acting as a lead worker.


• Proactively identify and resolve potential problems, considering wider implications beyond the immediate issue.

• Review non-standard work for technical soundness and may review the work of others, adhering to Pfizer standards and guidelines.


• Perform maintenance, adjustments, and repairs on production, process, facility, and utility equipment, participating in multicraft work activities as needed.


• Assess priorities and make decisions related to troubleshooting, diagnostics, and proactive maintenance of systems and mechanical equipment cost-effectively.


• Participate in safety training programs, use tools and equipment safely, and follow equipment schematics, logic diagrams, and engineering drawings.


• Provide customer training on system implementation in compliance with company standards, government regulations, and make recommendations for improved machine performance.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

• High School Diploma or GED


• 6+ years of experience


• Licensed Journeyman Electrician


• Demonstrated aptitude in basic mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation skills along with problem-solving techniques.


• A solid understanding of industry practices and standards, as well as basic mathematics.


• Familiarity with general trades such as construction, electrical, and machine shop work.


• Well-developed time management and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication skills.

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):

• Understanding of Pharma Utility systems and operations.


• Advanced certifications in relevant technical fields.


• Experience with advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.


• Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).


• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.


• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.


• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to work up to 12hrs. when needed.Lifting, standing, sitting, kneeling, walking, climbing and bending.Must be able to safely work in dusty, dirty and sterile environments.Must be able to gown in proper PPE to work in graded sterile areas.NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTSWork schedule is 3pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday which might flex from time to time based on business needs. Some weekly and weekend work overtime needed to cover business needs.Work Location Assignment: On PremiseThe salary for this position ranges from $27.41 to $45.69 per hour.
