Explore your future and launch your career today.Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Systems Administrator based out of Buckley AFB, COMaintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.What You’ll get to Do:Primary responsibility is to support the hardware design, development, and integration of ground processing stations of satellite data. These systems have a mix of Operating Systems (AIX, LINUX, and Windows) in both development lab environments and deployed operational environments. Perform new server builds using a Chef and NIM based provisioning environment, and perform level 2 support for system configuration, setup, and requested baseline configuration changes. Duties may include scripting for optimizing IT environment, project management for defining and implementing upgrades to the IT environment and serving as consultant for computer problems beyond the knowledge of engineering staff. Communications Systems Engineers must demonstrate a blend of engineering, advanced technical skills and excellent communication abilities.This requisition may be filled at a higher job grade based on the qualifications listed below.This requisition may be filled as either an Associate Systems Administrator or a Systems Administrator.Basic Qualifications for an Associate Systems Administrator:

 - Linux Administration experience
 - Willingness to support 24/7 Ops
 - Active Top Secret clearance required at time of application
