- You will work onsite at our Annapolis, MD site.
- You will perform test design including development of operational scenarios when reviewing technical requirements and design packages.
- You will develop well-written system integration and acceptance test plans and procedures with clear objectives and traceability to requirements.
- You will execute test plans, assesses test results against predefined criteria, and document test findings and artifacts with clear and detailed records.
- You will integrate hardware and software components into the system test environment.
- You will build and maintain the test environment laboratory, including test simulation and analysis tools.
- You will perform verification of functional and performance requirements in a production-like test environment using a variety of simulation test tools.
- You will perform validation of installation procedures and user documentation to ensure for a seamless integration into a high-availability system environment.
- You will identify and report bugs and issues found during integration and test activities.
- You will work closely with network engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive testing and integration of new technologies and solutions.
- You will prepare well-written test reports for stakeholder review and participation in project closure activities.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience in network engineering or an Advanced Degree in a related field
- Must have prior experience with large scale Wide Area Network Infrastructure environments comprised of routers, switches, firewalls, security appliances and applications.
- Must have experience with troubleshooting issues within infrastructure systems
- Must have prior experience analyzing system documentation.
- Experience with network and applications management concepts
- Experience with technologies and techniques in a large LAN/WAN environment (SNMP v1/v2/v3, polling/traps, Syslog and Netflow)
- Active CCNA certification or equivalent advanced network certification highly preferred.
- Experience working on multiple diverse projects simultaneously.
- Prio experience with technical writing and working across engineering teams and external customers.
