By completing these repairs in a timely fashion, the device can be returned to use by the hospital who has rented or purchased it.Service Depot Technicians at Baxter are trained in working with our devices and will build from previous mechanical or technical knowledge.This is where we apply your troubleshooting skills to medical devices and ensure our products are functioning accurately.Service Depot Technicians accurately document all servicing activity performed via the appropriate ERP system.Your team
- The Service Depot team works within a service center setting environment to complete in-house servicing activity, repairs, preventative maintenance, & software/hardware updates on medical devices per the product’s service manual to ensure the product’s performance and operation is to specification.

- Performs electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair of assigned products.
- Meticulously troubleshoot and repair any malfunctioning components to ensure the quality and functionality of the medical devices.
- Ability to use the appropriate tools in making required adjustments and repairs.
- Ability to use the appropriate troubleshooting software in making required adjustments and repairs.
- Maintain an organized service work area in alignment with 5S policies.
- Accurate service record-keeping, reconciliation, and reporting in appropriate ERP with a high degree of detail.
- Generate service revenue and complete activities required under service contract.
- Safely operate a fleet vehicle or company car ranging in size from a cargo van up to a 26,000-pound truck.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Applicable technical or trade school training preferred.
- 4+ years’ experience of prior technical or mechanical repair work required.
- Ability to load, unload, and remove medical products, weighing up to 1680 pounds.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to acquire and maintain a DOT physical card required.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Understands Internet, Intranet, MS Office products to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Expected salary: $48000 - 66000 per year
