- Undergraduate or graduate students in good academic standing.
- Possess effective leadership and teamwork skills (i.e. self-motivated, well-organized, able to share responsibility, assertive, receptive to feedback, creative thinking) as evidenced in application materials.
- Effective presentation and communication skills as evidenced in application materials.
- Schedules must be flexible to provide outreach services on days/times requested by campus organizations or departments and drop-in peer listening hours, as permitted by class schedule.
- Applicants must be able to attend required weekly MHPE team meeting.
- Demonstrated experience and interest in working in college mental health with a student population with a wide range of lived experiences as evidenced in application materials.
- Openness to learning about self and others as evidenced in application materials.
- Effective and empathetic listening skills as evidenced in application materials.
- Expressed interest in increasing awareness about mental health issues and treatment as evidenced in application materials.
Expected salary: $12 per hour
