  • Medical assistant certification

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to speak some Spanish or Arabic

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Our Ideal Certified Medical Assistant

  • Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and instruments

  • Proficiency with telemedicine platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems

  • Experience working in a healthcare or customer service setting

  • Completion of a dental assisting program

WHAT TO EXPECTOur Certified Medical Assistant works Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.You're an important part of our team, collaborating with our remote dentist to help perform virtual oral health assessments (OHAs). Navigating the TeleDent and ECW systems, you help schedule appointments, collect diagnostic data, and conduct virtual patient assessments. You maintain accurate and organized records, coordinate patient files, track completed OHAs, and update treatment plans accordingly.You're a crucial link between the remote dentist and in-person patients, accurately relaying information, answering questions, and facilitating seamless communication. Additionally, you assist with administrative responsibilities like completing data entry and maintaining records and documentation.
