Working remotely on Monday. - Maintain acceptable driver rating as established in Policy UTS157 in order to drive on- and off-campus utilizing University-owned vehicles.

- High school graduation or GED.
- Three years of experience in the operation of computers and auxiliary equipment.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Work seamlessly across organizational boundaries.
- Ability to communicate intelligently and effectively with personnel that perform maintenance or upgrade work on computer/facility systems (verbal and written).
- Five or more years of work experience and/or training supporting the operation of computers and auxiliary equipment.
- Experience providing support to mission critical data centers or network operation centers.
- Understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations including systems such as HVAC, Electrical and UPS Systems.
- Working knowledge of Networking: concepts, protocols and cabling.
- System administration of Windows, Unix and/or Mainframe platforms.
- Ability and willingness to find creative and innovative solutions to reduce costs with minimal impact on reliability.
- Technical certifications such as ITIL, A+ or Data Center.
- May work in all weather conditions
- May work in extreme temperatures
- May work around standard office conditions
- May work around electrical and mechanical hazards
- Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
- Use of manual dexterity (ex: using a mouse)
- Lifting and moving (up to 50 lbs.)
- May perform duties in non-office settings including walking, bending, climbing stairs and ladders
- Driving University vehicles to perform routine duties.
