This position will focus on ensuring compliance with both corporate policies and procedures as well as government regulations as defined in our contract requirements.Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serves as the lead on complex contracts of moderate risk.
 - Applies knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and agency-specific acquisition regulations to support the company's compliance with those regulations.
 - Prepares and reviews non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements.
 - Performs detailed review of solicitations and contracts, work orders, and other agreements to flag risk and compliance issues, and coordinates reviews with other corporate functional groups.
 - Advises company management on risk and compliance issues.
 - Supports project management staff in complying with administrative contractual requirements through the project lifecycle.
 - Coordinates with client contract administration staff (such as Contracting Officer) to facilitate the processing of contract and project authorizations and amendments, negotiate contract clauses and budgets, and respond to client concerns.
 - Coordinates with other corporate departments (i.e. human resources, compliance, IT) to address contractual issues.
 - Confers with technical staff and project management on issues such as desirability of work, and terms and conditions.
 - Performs other duties as assigned.
 
- Bachelor's degree.
 - 7 years of related experience.
 - Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
 - Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
 
- Previous experience managing federal service-based contracts with agencies such as FEMA, EPA, and/or USACE.
 - Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
 - Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems.
 - NCMA Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) certification.
