Microsoft Corporation has the following job opportunity:

Win technical decisions in associated solution plays for Azure by designing solution thru architectural approach & consultancy in Inspire & Design and Empower & Achieve stages; present & apply architecture patterns to drive customer outcomes & drive cross-workload support. Work w/ customers to plan modernization & optimization strategy to foster long-term strategic relationships, in Grow & Acquire accounts. Build Strategy: Share competitive insights & act as the voice of the customer to influence compete strategies, contributing to strategy development & capturing customer feedback. Solution Design & Proof: Identify, apply, & oversee demonstration assets for Microsoft solutions. Conduct architectural design sessions (ADS) & proof of concept (POC) sessions to showcase product capabilities & integration into customer environments. Promote & apply reference architectures. Closely consider customer industry, business requirements & existing technologies as well as adjacent MS technologies in architecting solutions. Orchestrate resources to solve customer problems, leveraging compelling remote & occasional onsite demos/hacks to share new vision & value. Technical Leadership: Proactively build domain knowledge, expand expertise thru customer & partner interactions, conduct group training events, monitor & contribute to tech communities, & serve as a mentor in the tech area. Drive recognition of Microsoft cloud solutions thru presentations & engagements w/ external audiences. Telecommuting permitted 50% or more per week w/in same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.

Minimum Requirements

-Education: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.

-Experience: 5 yrs of progressive, post-baccalaureate professional experience in the following skills: Azure Services; Azure; Distributed Systems; Virtualization Platforms; Web Services; Windows Hyper-V; Scripting; Data Structures; IIS; & SQL Server.

-Alternative Education and Experience Requirement: Alternatively, employer will also accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 3 yrs of professional experience in the following skills: Azure Services; Azure; Distributed Systems; Virtualization Platforms; Web Services; Windows Hyper-V; Scripting; Data Structures; IIS; & SQL Server.

-Background in customer proactive listening & sales is required.

-Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.

-Telecommuting permitted 50% or more per week w/in same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.

Pay Range and Benefits Information

The offered base pay range for this specific position (EG12695192), in Atlanta, GA, is $129,147 to $159,147 per year.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
