Workforce Planning Implementation Lead
About the position
You will be a Workforce Planning Implementation Lead for our Human Resources team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading implementation of the process, roles and responsibilities, business rhythms, and adoption of Vemo planning tool for headcount planning and resource management activities across the business area.
Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate stakeholders through headcount planning cycles twice a year to support forecast for workforce headcount and development of a hiring forecast with considerations to workforce demand and trends.

Work closely with functional leaders, HR, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop headcount plans that meet organizational needs. Drive cross-functional collaboration.

Facilitate development of a network for planners to support various functions and lines of business. Facilitate development of headcount planning expertise across the network and sharing of best practices.

Collaborate with finance teams to ensure headcount plans are aligned with budget allocations and financial objectives.
,
Analyze historical data, industry trends, and market research to inform headcount planning decisions to influence organizational design, manage labor cost and scenario plan using long-term forecasts.

Develop and maintain appropriate key performance measures to mature effectiveness of planning forecasts.

Continuously evaluate and improve headcount planning processes, tools and analytics in partnership with enterprise functional workforce planning product owners.

Lead and facilitate stakeholders through resource management cycle routinely, facilitating generation of workforce demand requirements in the system of record as proactively as possible, management of the demand requirements as conditions change, facilitate effective workforce supply allocation and proactive initiatives to solution workforce supply gaps.

Engage with stakeholders to drive value proposition and desired outcomes of enterprise wide resource planning approach.

Facilitate adoption of enterprise processes, roles and responsibilities, technology and analytics across the business area, including partnership to sunset legacy processes and tools.

Accelerate automatic generation of demand requirements in the enterprise solution, through collaboration with business development, finance, program execution and enterprise performance functions.

Provide training and support to end-users on resource management processes and systems.
,
Develop and maintain reports to track resource utilization, allocation, and performance metrics.
,
Analyze resource capacity and utilization to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Identify and communicate risks and adjustments to the overall workforce strategy implementation.

Continuously evaluate and improve resource management processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or related field
,
Minimum 5 years of experience in headcount planning, resources management, or a related field
,
Minimum 3 years of experience leading projects, with ability to plan, prioritize and successfully execute projects
,
Experience working across business and functional organizational boundaries to drive collaboration
,
Excellent influence and communication skills, including written, verbal and data visualization
,
Ability to effectively engage with different audiences and stakeholders with appropriate details
,
Ability to perform complex data analysis with large data sets to develop actionable insights
Nice-to-haves
Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
,
Bachelor's Degree with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Master's Degree
,
Certified Workforce Planner (CWP) or the Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) certifications
,
Experience performing analysis, modeling and visualization of data with tools such as Alteryx, R, Python, and Tableau
,
Experience with workforce planning tools such as Vemo, SAP Workforce Planning and GRID
,
Knowledge of predictive analytics and machine learning techniques
,
Previous Control Account Manager (CAM) or program planning experience
,
Experience in a similar industry or sector, such as aerospace, defense, or technology
,
Experience implementing a 1LMX transformation activity
