As a Deal Analytics Intern, you will play a central role in analyzing the performance of gaming content deals and partnerships within Microsoft's high-profile videogame business. The Global Business Development Team is hiring a Deal Analytics Intern based in the United States. As Team Xbox, we are on a mission to bring the joy and community of gaming to everyone on the planet. We work with gaming publishers and developers from around the world to bring Xbox and Windows games and services (e.g., Game Pass, xCloud) to customers. Responsibilities
Analyzing and tracking the performance of all deals and partnerships
,
Creating and distributing performance status dashboards and heat maps
,
Creating internal Power BI tools
,
Making forward-looking recommendations and improvements
,
Inventing and architecting new deal and agreement paradigms, and driving internal and external reporting and implementation
,
Modeling new programs and incentive structures, analyzing partner economics, and evaluating future business opportunities from a Microsoft and partner perspective
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree
,
Must have at least 1 semester/term remaining following the completion of the internship
Nice-to-haves
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Sciences, Mathematics, or related field AND 3+ years relevant work experience (e.g., investment banking, consulting, finance, corporate strategy, venture capital, or related field) OR equivalent experience

Analytical, modeling, Power BI, communication and customer/partner relationship skills
,
Experience in business intelligence, or analytics and planning with a proven track record for success
,
Knowledgeable about all forms of interactive entertainment and experience/interest in the console and PC gaming industry
,
Solid business acumen and ability to think strategically and execute tactically
,
Ability to work independently and juggle multiple projects and priorities
,
Cross-functional work experience within business development, finance, and marketing
Benefits
Base pay range for this internship is USD $5,560 - $11,190 per month
,
Different pay range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, is USD $7,260 - $12,200 per month
,
Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation
