As a Content Moderation Associate, your day-to-day tasks will include analyzing and reviewing user-generated content, enforcing platform policies and guidelines, responding to user inquiries, and providing excellent customer service. In addition, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content quality and assist with training programs.</p><p><br></p><ul><li>We seek a versatile professional who excels in curating and moderating news articles and their sources. I just wanted to let you know that there is no original reporting involved in this role.</li><li>Responsibilities Collaborate with Al development teams to understand project requirements and contribute insights from an editorial perspective, ensuring accuracy and relevance.</li><li>Review content against the client organization's community standards. Contribute to the continuous improvement of data labeling processes, providing feedback and suggestions for optimization.</li><li>Stay attuned to the news cycle throughout the day. making decisions on sending out notifications and breaking news alerts.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and evaluate user-generated content</li><li>Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Customer Service: Experience in providing excellent customer service</li><li>Technical Support: Knowledge of technical support principles and tools</li><li>Training: Experience in conducting training programs</li><li>Attention to detail: Ability to identify and address content violations</li><li>Ability to work remotely and independently</li><li>Experience in content moderation is a plus</li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. Library and Information Science, Communications.</li><li>English, or a closely related field.</li><li>Proficient understanding of the US news cycle and media landscape.</li><li>Availability to work at least one weekend day each week.</li><li>Proven experience in managing high-volume content workflows. Maintain the flexibility to adapt to a fast paced work environment and efficiently master</li><li>Must be based in the US. with a preference for candidates on the West Coast</li></ul>
