Comunale can work in virtually every market sector and facility type.Job Title: I/T Systems AdministratorUnder the direction of the Director of I/T, the I/T Systems Administrator’s role is to manage and optimize core I/T infrastructure including virtualization, Microsoft servers, backup platforms, and network systems across all Company locations. This includes maintaining the system uptime, ensuring security compliance, and providing Tier 3 support. The employee will interact with users and vendors to support the infrastructure and must demonstrate strong customer service skills and professional communicationESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInclude the following. - Administer and maintain on-premises and hybrid IT infrastructure, including VMware, Windows Server, and storage systems.
- Support and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Entra ID, and related services.
- Configure and monitor backup and disaster recovery platforms (e.g., Cohesity or equivalent).
- Manage Cisco Meraki switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure across remote offices.
- Implement system patches, updates, antivirus, and other system hardening measures.
- Develop and use PowerShell scripts to automate routine administrative tasks.
- Document infrastructure configurations, network diagrams, and system processes.
- Provide Tier 3 support and escalation assistance for complex infrastructure issues.
- Coordinate with external vendors on infrastructure upgrades, repairs, and implementations.
- Participate in business continuity, disaster recovery planning, and testing activities.
- Ability to travel to branch offices. Expected travel is 2-4 days per month, day trips or overnight if needed.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 4–5 years of experience in I/T infrastructure or systems administration.
- Proven skills with VMware, Microsoft Server technologies, and Cisco Meraki networks.
- Familiarity with backup platforms such as Cohesity or similar.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to strong customer service and professionalism.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced multi-task environment is required.
- Ability to follow-up on tasks and assignments in a timely manner is required.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision is required.
