As a Commercial Vehicle Driving Adjunct Instructor the day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Provide instruction, service and support of college policies and procedures, along with opportunities for professional development.
- Work with the students and other Commercial Vehicle Driving educational staff to assist students with academic and career plan.
We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate must:
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- At least three (3) years of full-time tractor-trailer truck driving experience with at least one of the three (3) years within the last 24 months.
- Possess a current State of Florida Class ‘A’ License.
- Possess: Knowledge of and experience with tractor-trailer truck driving principles and applications; Clean & safe driving record; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to keep accurate & thorough records Skilled in organization of tasks and responsive follow-through; Prior history of commercial vehicle instruction/training preferred.
