Great career opportunity for Project Manager with a well-respected and established leader in the Renewable Energy / RNG project development and construction managing sub-contractors performing commercial / industrial construction and engineering for RNG (Renewable Natural Gas) plants and related projects nationwide. There are multiple openings with the most immediate need being in the Salt Lake City, Utah area where it is desired that the candidates considered for this particular position reside in Utah ideally, or possibly in other states in the region such as CO, WY, NV, AZ, NW, or ID. For the other openings, candidate can reside anywhere in the continental United States with a manageable commute to a major commercial airport as this position will have overnight travel responsibilities. Ideal candidates will have related experience with process plant / process piping projects in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Chemical Process, Biogas, and other related process facility projects experience and the ability to travel as necessary. Responsibilities will reside in the Project Management of RNG Energy projects to include engineering, pre-construction, and construction. All interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for this great opportunity.Responsibilities:· Construction & engineering Project Management of Renewable Natural Gas Plant systems and similar projects from greenfield to commissioned facility· Have overall project management responsibility including management of the EPC contractors· Responsibility will include owner related permitting and other owner agreements (i.e., pipeline interconnection, electric utility interconnection, biogas supply agreements and related responsibilities)· Manage projects as:· Management of a single turn-key EPC contractor that is responsible for the complete engineering of the RNG facility, all equipment purchases, and the facilities construction and commissioning, but will manage the entire project and work with the EPC contractor on key decisions· Management of an Engineering contractor who is responsible for complete engineering of the RNG facility including specification of equipment. The selected project manager will be responsible for managing the procurement of all required equipment for the project as specified by the engineer. The project manager would also select a general contractor to construct the facility and manage that contract.· Project Manager acts as the general contractor and directly hires all the prime contractors. The project manager would take on the role of coordinating and managing the prime contractors - probably contract with a 3rd party construction management firm that would provide on-site construction supervision and administrative support in this case. The project manager would manage the construction management firm.· Procure equipment, materials, and services in support of projects· Manage budget and schedule· Review contracts to assure compliance· Negotiate contract terms and conditions within company set parameters· Coordinate project with other company team members, contractors, equipment oems, vendors, customers, and local and national government representatives· Assure compliance and reporting for permits, material contracts, lenders, and equity· Track cost and time· Use Microsoft Office applications to create project documentation· Use of Procore / MS Project to manage schedule, deliverables, tasks, and reportingQualifications:· 10+ years in project management of projects that include industrial processes (engineering, engineered industrial process equipment procurement, installation/construction).· Prefer a related four-year engineering degree from an accredited educational institution, but not a requirement· Gas processing projects such as RNG, gas transmission, gas compression, high-pressure natural gas, CNG processing or related a plus, RNG LFG projects and Commercial Farm Digester Gas projects a bid plus· PMI PMP Certification desired but not required· Prior demonstrated successful construction, pre-construction, and engineering project management experience on similar projects· Solid user skills and experience with Procore or MS Project inputting data, milestones, deliverables, tasks, schedule, creating reports, etc. is desired· Strong cost, time, and project scope experience· Ability to manage concurrent projects in multiple states· Approximately 30% overnight travel normally, but during RNG Plant commissioning, on-site visits daily.· Demonstrated budget management of projects greater than $50mm CAPEX· Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and grasp of what needs to be communicated to whom and when).· Can reside anywhere in the mainland USA near a major commercial airport· Must be authorized to work in the US now and experience must be in US based on related projects· Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 1st shift (exempt position); must be available for after-hours/weekend calls as needed.Benefits and Compensation:Company offers competitive compensation, and a performance bonus coupled with excellent benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with Company Match, Holiday Pay, and Personal Time Off (PTO) BenefitsKey words: ProCore Microsoft Project Primavera P6 budget schedule greenfield installation commissioning RNG renewable natural gas CNG Biogas Biomass Bio Gas Bio-gas Bio Mass LFG Landfill Gas Landfillgas Land Fill Gas high pressure natural gas methane digester construction
