Job Description

This F-35 Maintenance Planning Scrum Master - Level 4 position requires a multi-discipline Systems Engineer to serve as the Scrum Master for the F-35 Maintenance Planning team. The position will provide technical oversight of and mentoring to the Maintenance Planning team. This person will be responsible for identifying, prioritizing, analyzing, and implementing maintenance plan changes that will increase the Organizational and potentially Intermediate-Level capability while improving aircraft availability and reducing life cycle costs. The areas of coordination include Spares Strategy, BCA Modeling, Mod Planning, Availability Analysis, LST integration, DQIM, ALIS, Support Equipment, PHM, E&T R&M, JTD, Training, Depot Support/Repairs, Strategy Development, and Risk/Opportunity Management.

This position will be responsible for interfacing with the Joint Program Office Maintenance Value Stream Team (JPO MxVST) and coordinating the Maintenance Plan Triage Working Group, Maintenance Plan Change Boards, Technical Interchange Meetings, and Complexity Assessment Boards (CAB). The Maintenance Planning team is responsible for ensuring that the appropriate level of analysis is accomplished and properly documented.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking and business acumen skills, be highly collaborative, exhibit exceptional organizational skills, demonstrate proactive thinking, operate autonomously as appropriate, and produce superior work products under short deadlines. The candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment.

The Maintenance Planning Scrum Master will be directly involved in the planning, development, and execution of maintenance plan changes. Tasks include, but are not limited to project management, development of senior leadership briefings (contractor and/or service); briefing senior leadership (contractor and/or service); conducting project reviews; assisting in requirements development.

A level 4 employee Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline

Prior experience with F-35 Maintenance Planning or Sustainment Lifecycle Management duties

Prior Experience with AGILE Methodology

Previous hands-on F-35 aircraft maintenance experience

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Security Clearance Information

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
