Job Description This Delivery Merchandiser - On Premise Relief CDL is a touch freight position and is responsible for delivering and rotating stock. Also responsible for merchandising shelves, racks, equipment, and displays to Company standards. What your day will look like: Ã⢠Relieve in the absence of the Delivery Merchandiser-On Premise in performing all the daily duties Ã⢠Transports and unloads products to retail outlets Ã⢠Responsible for merchandising all product inside the outlet to Company standards Ã⢠Works in partnership with the Sales Supervisor to execute the picture of success. Establish positive relationships with all customers, as well as providing superior customer service Ã⢠Provides feedback and recommendations to leadership on competitive threats and business opportunities as they arise Ã⢠Ability to work with all functional team members Ã⢠Sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays Ã⢠Communicates any store level issue to management Ã⢠Complies with DOT rules for driving purposes Ã⢠Maintains rapport with customers Ã⢠Collection of any breakage or out of date product, including empty shells and pallets Ã⢠Accurate accounting for all cases and customer transactions Ã⢠Ensure proper care of product, equipment, and route settlement daily Ã⢠Deliver, rotate, and merchandise product on shelf, displays and all cold equipment Ã⢠Maintains backstock in an organized manner Ã⢠Keeps coolers, racks, and shelves clean Ã⢠Assist with training, coaching, succession planning of any delivery merchandiser trainees Ã⢠Build strong relationships with customer base across assigned customers Ã⢠Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management What you need to succeed: Ã⢠Minimum of 21 years old Ã⢠Class A Commercial Driver's License required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy Ã⢠Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies Ã⢠Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job Ã⢠Ability to read, write and speak English Ã⢠Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines Ã⢠Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets Ã⢠Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology Ã⢠The ability to maintain DOT physical requirements Ã⢠Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively in fast-paced environment Ã⢠High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ã⢠Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ã⢠Ability to write simple correspondence Ã⢠Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization Ã⢠Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ã⢠Ability to problem solve Ã⢠Frequent standing and walking Ã⢠Repeated exposure to weather Ã⢠Ability to self-motivate and able to perform job duties with minimal supervision CCBCU is an Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled.
