This position is full-time. Employees have the flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM depending on time zone. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime and weekends.
We offer 4 - 6 weeks of paid initial training and on-the-job training to follow. The hours during training will be any 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM - 5:00pm from Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities
• Contribute to the success of customer implementation through active participation in meetings for new business wins
• Prepare plan materials such as administrative documents and customer education materials
• Configure customer benefit structure
• Research benefit installation issues and develop customer specific resolutions
• Audit benefit structure configuration for adherence to quality measures and reporting standards
This is a challenging role with serious impact. It’s a fast paced, high - volume environment that requires you to work independently while maintaining a strong focus on company policies and guidelines. Your accuracy will be vitally important and monitored carefully to ensure our system is correctly coded and that all plan documents are precise.

Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent experience
• 1+ years of previous OR current benefit coding experience utilizing UMR’s Claims Processing System (UMR CPS / Jacada). (UMR is UnitedHealthcare's third - party administrator (TPA) solution and candidate must be an employee of UMR specifically to have experience with the UMR claims system)
• 1+ years of experience in a healthcare insurance environment, using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties
• Experience with using computer and Windows personal computer applications
• Intermediate skills of Microsoft Excel (i.e., creating spreadsheets, v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
• Ability to work any full-time, 8-hour shift between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM depending on time zone, including the flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends based on business need
• Must be 18 years of age OR older
Telecommuting Requirements
• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Washington or Rhode Island Residents Only: The hourly range for California / Colorado / Connecticut / Hawaii / Nevada / New York / New Jersey / Washington / Rhode Island residents is $23.22 - $45.43 per hour.
