About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Remote HR Assistant to support HR operations across our four nursing home facilities. This position is critical in strengthening our HR processes, implementing robust bonus and compensation programs, and ensuring accurate attendance tracking across all locations12. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in healthcare HR operations and specialized software systems to help streamline our multi-site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Enhancement & Implementation
- Develop and implement robust HR processes across all four nursing home locations
- Design and execute bonus program implementation and administration
- Create standardized procedures for consistent HR operations across facilities
- Support compliance with healthcare industry regulations and nursing home requirements3
- Attendance & Payroll Support
- Verify and monitor employee attendance across all four facilities
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accuracy of timekeeping records
- Generate attendance reports and identify patterns or discrepancies
- Support payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly1
- Administrative & Operational Support
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
- Assist with recruitment, screening, and onboarding processes for nursing staff
- Support benefits administration and employee communications
- Generate HR reports and analytics for management decision-making2
- Software Management
- Utilize AOD software for daily HR operations and reporting
- Manage attendance tracking systems and ensure data accuracy
- Support implementation of new HR technologies and systems
- Required Qualifications
- AOD Software Experience: Proven experience with AOD software systems for HR/payroll operations
- Minimum 2-3 years of HR assistant or administrative experience, preferably in healthcare
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database management
- Understanding of payroll processing and attendance verification procedures
- Knowledge of healthcare industry HR practices and compliance requirements
- Preferred Qualifications
- Veventiam Software Experience: Experience with Veventiam software systems is a strong plus
- Previous experience in nursing home or long-term care facility operations
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience with multi-site HR operations
- Knowledge of healthcare worker bonus programs and incentive structures3
- Familiarity with nursing home staffing requirements and regulations
