We are actively seeking experienced Legal/Judicial contract transcriptionists with a robust background in transcribing depositions and judicial hearings. This opportunity is fully remote and designed for independent contractors.
Key Responsibilities
 Accurately transcribe audio recordings of depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings into verbatim transcripts.
 Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail while adhering to client-specific style guides.
 Maintain high standards of literacy and grammatical accuracy in all transcripts.
 Collaborate with our dedicated in-office team as required to resolve any issues that may arise.
Required Skills
 Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription is essential.
 Exceptional listening skills and the ability to discern and capture spoken content accurately.
 Strong literacy skills encompassing comprehension, spelling, and grammar proficiency.
 Proficient typing abilities characterized by speed and accuracy.
 Familiarity with legal terminology is a must.
 Capability to process sensitive audio/text content (may be challenging).
 Must successfully pass a background check.
 Court reporting students are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
 Significant experience transcribing legal documents, depositions, or hearings.
 Ability to work independently while effectively managing time and deadlines.
