The Pharmacy Technician could be responsible for taking inbound calls transferred from a contact center representative, reviewing patient accounts, generating outbound fax requests, making outbound calls to prescribers and patients, data entry, and transferring calls when appropriate. Skills  Strong verbal and written communication skills  Basic math and computer skills including Windows navigation, Microsoft applications, internet, and email  Ability to learn internal systems, processes, and programs as needed  Attention to detail Responsibilities  Take inbound calls transferred from a contact center representative  Review patient accounts  Generate outbound fax requests and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients  Perform data entry and transfer calls when appropriate  Ensure quality assurance and report adverse events  Assist with prescriber and patient outreach Qualifications  High School Diploma or GED required  Valid Pharmacy Technician license strongly preferred, or Pharmacy Tech-In training/certification/registration as required by state laws  0-1 year of relevant experience Education Requirements  High School Diploma or GED required Education Requirements Credential Category  Certification in Pharmacy Technician (preferred) Experience Requirements  0-1 year of relevant experience in pharmacy or healthcare field Why work in Columbus, OH Columbus, OH, is a vibrant city known for its friendly atmosphere, diverse economy, and rich cultural scene.
