We’re seeking a talented and enthusiastic Level 1 Data Science Instructor to join our team and develop engaging online courses. Responsibilities: • Develop and deliver compelling online content covering a variety of data science topics, adhering to our curriculum and learning objectives. • Utilize various multimedia elements like data visualizations, interactive coding exercises, and real-world case studies to create dynamic learning experiences. • Craft clear and concise explanations of data science concepts, including statistics, machine learning, and programming, ensuring learners with varying backgrounds can grasp the material. • Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to guarantee course accuracy, technical depth, and practical application in real-world data analysis scenarios. • Participate in the ongoing review and improvement of existing data science course content. • Respond to learner questions and concerns in a timely and helpful manner, fostering a supportive learning environment. • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and trends within the data science field, including new tools, techniques, and best practices. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or equivalent experience). • Proven experience in explaining technical concepts related to data science and programming to a general audience. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to create engaging and interactive online content, including coding demonstrations and explanations of data analysis techniques (a plus). • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and methodologies. • Passion for data science and a desire to share your knowledge with aspiring data analysts and professionals. • Proficiency in using online learning platforms is preferred. • Experience with popular data science programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and tools (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn) is a plus. Bonus points for: • Experience developing online courses or other instructional materials for data science topics. • Industry experience in data analysis, machine learning, or related fields. • Knowledge of specific data science sub-disciplines (e.g., natural language processing, computer vision, big data). • A captivating and engaging teaching style that fosters a love for learning about data and its potential to solve real-world problems.
