Advertised Position Title: Applicant Pool for Teacher, Childcare (Part-Time, Findlay, Substitute/Temporary... Job Description: Essential Functions: Â Serving and cleaning up meals and snacks. Â Group management of children ages 18 months - 12 years. Â Assisting children in bathroom (including changing diapers) . Â Communicating with co-workers, children and children's families. Â Maintaining Accurate Records of attendance and count of all children in the classroom. Â Cleaning and sanitizing toys, furniture, and equipment. Â Implementing daily activity plans Lifting of children up to 60 lbs. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Â Direct care of children ages 18 months - 12 years of age. Â Basic knowledge of child development is essential. Â Excellent verbal and written communications skills; record keeping; serving/cleaning up meals; general housekeeping skills; changing diapers/assisting children in the bathroom. Â Capability to make quick decisions; ability to manage a large group of children. Â Must be punctual. Â Initiative, Flexibility, Energy, and an eagerness to learn. Minimum Qualifications: Â High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.). Â Experience working with children ranging in age from 18 months-12 years old in a group care setting.
