• * We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Washington, DC. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing our inventory-related financial records, tracking costs, reconciling accounts, and providing valuable financial insights to support our decision-making processes. • * Key Responsibilities:
• * ** Inventory Management & Financial Tracking:*
• - Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records while tracking food and beverage costs.
- Reconcile inventory purchases, usage, and waste to ensure financial accuracy.
- Analyze inventory trends to help identify cost-saving opportunities.
• * Bookkeeping & Financial Reporting:*
• - Record daily transactions related to inventory, ensuring proper documentation and categorization.
- Generate and review financial reports to maintain data integrity.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes related to inventory purchases.
• * Compliance & Organization:*
• - Ensure compliance with company policies and financial best practices.
- Collaborate with management to enhance inventory control processes and improve financial reporting efficiency.
- Maintain organized and accessible inventory records.

• Experience:
• * - Previous bookkeeping experience, ideally in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Proficiency in TOAST POS and Quick Books is highly desirable.

• - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends in inventory and expenses.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• * Work Environment:*
• - This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days onsite at the restaurant and 1 day remote.
- You will work in both an office and restaurant setting, collaborating with kitchen and management teams.
