Job Title: Experienced Consultant - Business Analyst (Procurement, SAP, Supply Chain Transformation) Location: Remote with occasional onsite meetings (as required by project) Duration: 6-12 months with potential extension No. of Positions: 1 JOB DESCRIPTION ROLE OVERVIEW • Client is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to support enterprise-level transformation initiatives in procurement and supply chain management. • The ideal candidate will possess deep domain knowledge in procurement processes, experience with SAP systems (especially S/4HANA), and a strong track record in business process analysis and design. This consultant will play a key role in capturing business requirements, aligning stakeholders, and translating business needs into actionable system and process improvements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering: • Work with stakeholders across procurement, supply chain, and IT to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements. • Translate complex business needs into functional specifications for SAP and related systems. • SAP Procurement & Supply Chain Support: • Act as a liaison between functional teams and SAP technical teams to ensure solution alignment. • Support configurations and enhancements across SAP procurement modules (e.g., MM, Ariba, S/4HANA). • Analyze and validate data across procurement and supply chain domains (e.g., materials, vendors, BOMs). • Business Process Mapping & Design: • Document current-state processes and identify opportunities for standardization and optimization. • Collaborate in the design of future-state process models aligned with global transformation goals. • Ensure business processes are scalable, complaint, and automation ready. • Project Support & Testing: • Participate in solution workshops, sprint planning, and user story development. • Support testing activities, including scenario definition, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect triage. • Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams to ensure timely delivery of milestones. • Change Management & Training Enablement: • Contribute to change impact assessments and stakeholder readiness activities. • Develop user documentation, training materials, and support onboarding for new processes or systems. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • 7+ years of business analysis experience in procurement or supply chain environments • Strong working knowledge of SAP procurement systems (MM, Ariba, S/4HANA) and integration with supply chain functions • Demonstrated experience with business process modeling and requirements management • Skilled in tools such as Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent • Experience supporting enterprise transformation programs or ERP implementations • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to work across functions and geographies PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Experience in the consumer health, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industry • Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) and Bill of Materials (BOM) processes • Exposure to Agile methodologies and cross-functional project delivery • Formal certification such as CBAP, PMP, Agile/Scrum, or Lean Six Sigma .
