In this role you will work on impactful, scalable systems powering Panopto’s industry-leading video management platform for over 10 million users globally. Key Responsibilities • Backend and Frontend Software Engineering: Develop and design high-scale systems by contributing to both backend and frontend functionalities. • Attention to Detail: Dive deep into how things work to ensure an excellent customer experience by improving processes across the technical stack. • Software Development and Testing: Execute functional, load, stress, performance, security, unit and integration testing to ensure product quality and stability. • Automation: Enhance and maintain automation initiatives, perform end-to-end testing, and monitor automation tests for robust system performance. • Systems Design: Apply technical design expertise in high-scale environments, ensuring system reliability and fault tolerance. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience/training • 0-2 years of relevant work experience • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) • Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and parallel/distributed systems • Software engineering skills including componentization, automated testing, debugging, and designing for fault tolerance • Clear and concise communication skills and a commitment to transparency Benefits & Perks • Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 per year with bonus eligibility • Competitive base pay with a comprehensive Total Rewards package • Access to a variety of benefit programs including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, retirement savings, and life/disability insurance • A commitment to pay equity and transparency across the organization • Flexible, remote-friendly work environment with occasional in-office collaboration Apply Job!
