Data Engineer - Azure - Job Description:
This is a new data engineering role with TD Bank, focused on a critical project involving financial crime analytics. The project aims to develop complex data models covering various aspects of bank customer information to enhance data-driven initiatives.
Data Engineer - Azure - Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the development of complex data models
• Identify and validate potential data sources
• Design and develop data pipelines for high-quality data
• Enable analytical work for downstream users
Data Engineer - Azure - Mandatory Skills:
• Proficiency in data modeling with complex data structures
• Experience in building ETL pipelines and exploratory data analysis
• Strong coding skills in SQL, Python, and PySpark
• Expertise in Azure and Databricks
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
Data Engineer - Azure – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Financial Services data
• Experience using LLMs, including prompt engineering
• Programming and web development experience
Data Engineer - Azure – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion.
