Operations Planning Manager

Description: • Develop and manage production schedules with contract manufacturers to ensure on-time delivery of products while meeting demand forecasts. • Monitor inventory levels to balance supply with customer demand, avoiding overstocking or shortages. • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract manufacturers, fostering strong partnerships to ensure adherence to quality, timelines, and cost expectations. • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to generate accurate demand forecasts and adjust production plans accordingly. • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and reduce lead times. • Work closely with Quality and Food Safety teams to ensure all products meet regulatory and brand standards. • Monitor production and logistics costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality. • Utilize data-driven insights to track performance metrics, forecast trends, and optimize planning decisions. • Ensure compliance with all applicable food safety, regulatory, and environmental standards. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain management, or operations, preferably within the food industry. • Proven experience managing relationships with contract manufacturers. • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in planning tools and software (e.g., ERP systems). • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage vendor relationships. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. • Passion for natural and sustainable foods is a plus.
