Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) for a full-time, school-based role in the Midland, KS area. This is a rewarding opportunity to work within local school districts, providing direct support to students, educators, and families to improve behavioral and academic outcomes.
Position Overview:
• Location: near Midland, Kansas and surrounding school districts
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
• Contract: Current school year with potential for renewal based on performance
• Setting: Elementary, middle, or high school (varies by placement)
Qualifications – Required to Apply:
To be considered, applicants must meet the following state and local certification requirements:
• Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Kansas Behavior Analyst License issued by the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB)
• Must meet Kansas Department of Education (KSDE) requirements for working in a public school setting
• Ability to pass district-specific background checks and clearances
• Experience working in educational or pediatric environments is highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and create individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and school teams to support students with behavioral and developmental challenges
• Provide ongoing training and supervision for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and support staff
• Monitor and report student progress using data-driven methods
• Contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and ensure compliance with school and state guidelines
