Behavioral Health Care Management Clinician (remote in Oregon)
About the position
- Responsibilities
- Document and present coherent clinical assessments and case formulations.
- Develop individualized plans of care.
- Teach and provide telephonic support for members and their support systems.
- Coordinate with providers at all levels of care.
- Facilitate communication between members and their support systems.
- Participate in interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary team meetings associated with member care.
- Provide technical assistance and training to community partners regarding programs and systems of care.
- Perform cross coverage when required, fulfilling all duties of the Utilization Management Integrated Services Coordinator.
- Requirements
- 5 years' experience in mental health.
- Knowledge of DSM criteria for mental health and substance dependence/abuse diagnoses.
- Experience with programs such as EASA, IIBHT, WRAP, or coordinating between levels of care with hospitals or DHS.
- Ability to conduct psychosocial assessments and formulate multiaxial DSM impressions.
- Strong communication skills to present, recommend, and listen effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software and/or Google Suites.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a closely allied field.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker or equivalent Oregon licensed healthcare profession.
