About the position Responsibilities • Provide telephone triage services to individuals requesting assistance or referrals. • Complete risk assessments to determine if callers are at risk for suicide or homicide. • Manage multiple crisis calls in a professional manner. • Assist clinical staff with follow-up phone calls as needed. • Develop stabilization and safety plans in collaboration with clients and their support systems. • Complete comprehensive documentation supporting safety plans. • Maintain knowledge of community resources to assist clients effectively. • Participate in quality improvement teams and other agency responsibilities as assigned. • Maintain client records and documentation in accordance with agency policies. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in a Behavioral Health related field. • Two years of experience serving individuals with behavioral health needs (preferred). • Experience with crisis intervention and risk assessments (preferred). • Strong engagement and customer service skills. • Ability to remain calm and professional during escalated situations. • Knowledge of WAC and RCW requirements for Crisis. • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals. Nice-to-haves • Experience with addiction counseling. • Knowledge of NCQA standards.
