About the position Responsibilities • Direct all facility operations in the Las Vegas location. • Manage and direct a team of Managers and hourly employees, coaching and mentoring them to meet performance objectives. • Identify gaps in process and performance, actively working to close them. • Build positive employee relations and leadership bench strength within the team. • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure alignment with eBay principles and business goals. • Lead a team of 4-5 salaried leaders and up to 50 hourly associates to deliver results in Safety, Quality, Customer Experience, Employee Engagement, Leadership Development, and Cost. • Drive quality and performance initiatives, process change initiatives, and Lean initiatives to meet business plans. • Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Managers, measuring performance and providing feedback. • Source and nurture ideas from the team to create improvement plans for the functional area. • Ensure standard processes are followed and shared across all departments. • Plan proactively for changes that could impact building performance or customer experience. • Build facility leadership competence in associate and manager development, critical metric management, conflict resolution, goal setting, and accountability. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from an accredited university. • MBA or equivalent experience preferred. • Sustained track record of leading operational improvements at a building level. • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to work independently and influence others. • Experience leading Lean Kaizen events and Continuous Improvement activities. Nice-to-haves • Experience in managing diverse teams. • Knowledge of eBay's operational principles and practices. • Familiarity with safety, quality, and employee engagement cultures.
