Contract Duration: 6 months Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of backend software development experience using Python Experience with RESTful APIs and Microservices Deep familiarity with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, SQS, etc.) Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases Experience designing and deploying serverless applications Solid grasp of object-oriented and functional programming principles Understanding of microservice architecture, event-driven design, and distributed systems Desired Skills & Experience Experience with container platforms like Docker or Kubernetes Comfort with architectural system design Familiarity with message-based systems like Kinesis or Kafka Excellent debugging, optimization, and system-level thinking Exposure to high-traffic, low-latency application environments What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown 80% Python + AWS backend development 10% API and system architecture design 10% Collaboration & code reviews Daily Responsibilities 85% Hands-On Development 5% Strategic Architecture 10% Team Collaboration You will receive the following benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
