Specialist, Digital Marketing & Strategy - Distribution (Latin)
About the position
Responsibilities
• Assist in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns for Latin artist releases, including social media content, email marketing, and playlisting strategies.
• Prepare pitches to key digital retail, mobile, and online promotional partners to secure retail campaigns and marketing opportunities for releases.
• Work with artists, managers, and the digital team to ensure that content aligns with the artist's brand and resonates with Latin music audiences.
• Develop and execute digital marketing and content distribution strategies for Roc Nation's Latin artists.
• Produce and post digital content, including text, images, and videos; liaise with artists and managers to develop artist-generated content that enhances fan engagement.
• Support and manage relationships with key digital accounts, such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc., to secure promotional opportunities and playlisting.
• Liaise with label distribution partners to execute digital marketing plans and initiatives for releases and campaigns.
• Assist in building and launching new artist websites and social media profiles; maintain and update artist sites and profiles, ensuring consistent branding and up-to-date content.
• Work with the Data team to compile and distribute regular reports to internal teams, tracking key metrics such as engagement rates, audience growth, and content performance.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions for creative digital campaigns to drive fan engagement.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing or social media, ideally with a focus on music or entertainment.
• Full working bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English) is a mandatory requirement; Portuguese not required but preferred.
• Familiarity with digital and social platforms, particularly TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, and other platforms popular in the Latin music community.
• Strong passion for Latin music and culture.
• Experience with content creation, including basic skills in image and video editing (Photoshop, Premiere, or mobile editing tools).
• Understanding of key digital metrics and experience working with analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and project management skills; ability to execute tasks under pressure, highly organized, and proactive.
• A team player with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience with content creation tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of additional languages beyond Spanish and English.
