Job Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Training Professional to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on various aspects of federal contracts and related topics. The Training Professional will be responsible for designing and facilitating training sessions to educate individuals, including government personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders, on federal contract regulations, procurement processes, compliance requirements, and best practices. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations and possess excellent presentation, communication, and instructional design skills. Responsibilities: 1. Develop training programs and materials on federal contract regulations, procurement processes, compliance requirements, and related topics. 2. Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and requirements of the target audience. 3. Design and develop engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, handouts, e-learning modules, and job aids. 4. Deliver training sessions and workshops on federal contracts, using a variety of instructional techniques and tools. 5. Customize training programs to meet the specific needs and knowledge levels of different audiences, such as government personnel, contractors, and procurement professionals. 6. Stay up-to-date with changes in federal acquisition regulations, policies, and procedures, and incorporate them into training materials and sessions. 7. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy and relevance of training content. 8. Evaluate training effectiveness using various methods, such as assessments, surveys, and feedback, and make necessary adjustments to improve training programs. 9. Provide individual coaching or mentoring to individuals seeking specialized guidance on federal contract topics. 10. Collaborate with other training professionals and teams to share best practices, resources, and lessons learned. 11. Keep accurate records of training activities, participant attendance, evaluations, and other relevant documentation. 12. Continuously enhance personal knowledge and skills in instructional design, adult learning principles, and federal contract regulations. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. 2. Proven experience as a Training Professional, preferably with a focus on federal contracts or government procurement. 3. Familiarity with federal contract types, including fixed-price, cost-reimbursement, and time-and-materials contracts. 4. Experience designing and delivering training programs using various delivery methods, such as in-person, virtual, and e-learning. 5. Proficiency in instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies. 6. Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences. 7. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner. 8. Familiarity with training technologies and platforms, such as learning management systems (LMS) and authoring tools. 9. Strong organizational and project management skills to effectively plan, develop, and deliver training programs. 10. Ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. 11. US citizenship or eligibility to work on federal contracts.
