The Senior Global Portfolio Manager, Fixed Price & Remote Services is responsible for the portfolio of customer facing Fixed Price Service products, Remote Service products and their strategy. This position reports to the Director of Aftermarket Portfolio Management and while preference is for proximity to one of SCIEX’s global offices, remote working arrangements are considered. This person works alongside a global team of portfolio managers to establish clear business justifications for Service & Aftermarket products and strategy, with the exciting challenge of balancing the management of a “tried and true” product portfolio and developing an innovative vision and strategy for the burgeoning Remote and Virtual Solutions space. Success will require skills in leading by influence and ability to work collaboratively across departments around the globe. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: • Manage and grow the Aftermarket Fixed Price Services & Remote Services product portfolio by establishing KPIs and analyzing financial performance of the portfolios’ product lines (revenue, profitability, quality, volume, pricing, discount matrices) throughout its products’ lifecycles • Own product portfolio roadmap strategy for Fixed Price & Remote Services product portfolio to ensure we have the right products to meet current and future needs of our business, markets and customers by working closely with external and internal customers to understand needs, experiences and improvement opportunities • Ensure commitment to Voice of Customer and informed understanding of the complex global Market & Competitive dynamics our products play in by developing, deploying and analyzing surveys and analyzing available market research • Champion new product introductions that support broader Service & Aftermarket strategy, engaging internal teams and resources to identify, prioritize, develop, project manage and launch product proposals from ideation through commercial launch. • Collaborate with internal cross functional partners to deliver commercial excellence and overall customer experience excellence in current and future products, including teams from Service Delivery, Sales, Commercial Operations, Global & Regional Marketing, Internal Training, Product Management, Supply Chain and R&D The essential requirements of the job include: • 5 years’ experience Science, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field plus Bachelor’s Degree or additional equivalent professional experience • Knowledge of Mass Spectrometry and Remote Tools for technical clients • Product management and/or market research experience, or additional translatable experience • Comfort & skill in public presentation to different levels of leadership • Travel to customer and non-customer sites globally, with additional travel to trade shows and SCIEX sites (maximum 30%).
