Job Title: Social Worker - Family Placement (12-Month Maternity Cover/Secondment Opportunity)

Join Our Team and Make a Difference in the Lives of Children and Families We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Worker to join our Family Placement Team on a 12-month maternity cover or secondment basis. As a core member of our team, you will play a vital role in improving outcomes for children in our care, working collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality support and services.

About the Role: As a Social Worker in our Family Placement Team, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and assessing new and substitute Foster Carers and Special Guardian applicants. You will work within the context of relevant legislation, delivering services according to our Department's policies, procedures, and guidelines. Your primary focus will be on protecting and safeguarding children and young people, ensuring their needs are met, and providing them with the best possible support.
