As a remote position, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere within MN or relocate to MN within 6-12 months, with occasional travel required.

About the Role:

The Senior Transportation Project Manager/Engineering Manager will be responsible for:

  • Fostering relationships with existing clients and cultivating new ones to drive growth and strength in our public works portfolio
  • Identifying and pursuing projects in the roads and highways market that align with our services
  • Mentoring and supporting project managers, engineers, technicians, and landscape architects
  • Monitoring and tracking project budgets, staff utilization, and financial targets
  • Leading roadway projects of varying complexity, scope, scale, and budgets
  • Responding to requests for proposals and leading public meetings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited college
  • 10+ years of Civil Engineering experience
  • Working knowledge of MnDOT and Minnesota local agency specifications, design practices, and project assembly requirements
  • Professional Engineer licensure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Progressive work experience directing and leading roadway projects in Minnesota
  • Previous experience with roadway design using Microstation, Geopak/ORD
  • Progressive experience overseeing engineering team members
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain a client base

Salary Range: $107,000 - $148,500 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
